Joe Bouchard was one of the founding member of rock legends Blue Öyster Cult. Joe began playing with BÖC in 1970 and over the years recorded 14 albums for Columbia Records. BÖC went on to became one of the most successful recording and touring bands of the 70s and 80s. With BÖC Joe earned nine gold and two platinum records. Joe's epic song Astronomy was covered very successfully by Metallica in 1998. The BÖC catalog continues to sell well into the next millennium gaining a whole new generation of fans with their songs being featured in several movies and TV shows like Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons.
This project features Joe on acoustic guitar and vocals, and Patty G (Patty Gesmondi) on vocals and percussion. Their sound is an eclectic mix of styles with intense emotions embedded in great classic songs.
Patty is a music business veteran who performed as backup singer and percussionist for over nine years in Joe's blues band, TreeTop. Patty had seen tremendous success with her website on myspace.com/PattyG where you can hear samples of their collaborations. She is planning to publish a book of original poetry and has garnered several awards for writing from Poetry.com.
They started this serious collaboration in November 2003. After years of hard work the duo is moving from demo stage to the finished master stage of this project.
